Renovations have always been a favourite — the added complexity of existing site conditions, figuring out what can be reused, and finding ways to integrate new design seamlessly into an existing space make for some of the most interesting engineering challenges. Over a variety of projects, I have developed strategies to navigate these challenges and ensure renovation projects are set up for success.

Having worked as a mechanical engineer, BIM manager, and design manager across international projects, I understand how different disciplines think, communicate, and prioritise — and how to bridge the gaps between them. That cross-disciplinary perspective is what makes coordination actually work on complex projects.
